I keep saying that there will be no more pardons from the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page, but both Emily Kennard Dunn and Alexis Dzienia deserve to be a part of Flickuum lore, which of course means granting two pardons for that to happen. So, with that being said, I did the following:
- I did an expedited re-assessment of “Pirates Of The Great Salt Lake” to get a better understanding of the ending, which I was able to get, thus giving the former of the two actresses a Flickuum movie
- I traded “Without Ward” (which features the latter of the two actresses) to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page for “Broken Flowers” to re-assess it, so that I can better understanding of the “music listening” scene”, especially because that movie is possibly Dziena’s best shot at Flickuum lore
The goal to round out the 2,101 through 2,200 selection protocol is a goal that I want to accomplish before my evaluation of “Air Force One”, which was 11 heading into my re-assessment of “Blue Chips”. But now that number is nine, as A) The aforementioned “Blue Chips” being on The Flickuum bubble has paved the way for “Godzilla Minus One” to make The Project, and B) “Forever Strong” failing its re-assessment is why “Pirates Of The Great Salt Lake” is in The Project, as both movies are both Emily Kennard Dunn movies. Oh yes, and the aforementioned “Forever Strong” has been sent to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page in exchange for that other movie of hers.
And finally, not all music biopics can be instant classics like “Back To Black”, as the Scott Joplin biopic in which the title bears his name just regressed as it went on during my assessment of it. Yes, it did allow me a break in between my evaluations of “Wrath Of The Titans” and “Batman Forever”, but re-remembering that regression exactly seven months later has helped cinch my decision about re-assessing it, with that decision being no. So, with that being said, that movie will be going along with “Forever Strong” and “Without Ward” to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
Well, it’s time to have nine more successful assessments/re-assessments, because I would like to have new movies in Tier 5 sooner rather later. So, on that note, it’s time to haul ass.
Until the next time.
