It took nearly seven months to amass a group of movies (131) to select from once all 23 movies on the Walrus 23 page graduated to Tier 5. But the grueling amassing process is finally over, thus comes the selection process of the seven best of those 131 movies graduating today. Now let’s reveal which ones that they are via the chart below:
Movie | Why it’s one of the seven chosen |
Arthur The King | The story is both inspirational and heartwarming, thus making it the early favorite for The Flickuum’s best 2024 movie. |
Back To Black | Marisa Abela has turned herself into a household name with her breakout portrayal of Amy Winehouse, to the point that it’s going to overtake Selena as the best music biopic in The Project. |
Abigail | This movie is going to unseat Blade II as the best vampire movie in The Project, thanks in large part to Melissa Barrera. |
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare | This movie is the best chance for Eiza Gonzalez to have a Top 100 movie. |
Despicable Me 4 | All five Minions movies are in the Top 100 and three of them are in the Top 35. This movie is going to put itself on the same trajectory. |
Bad Boys: Ride Or Die | The first installment of the franchise defeated the second installment, and it will defeat the third installment. But this one will be the best of the franchise, and it could lock down a Top 100 spot when The Project is all said and done. |
Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom | This movie picks right up from where its predecessor left off, thus replicating the experience of seeing its aforementioned predecessor. |
Well, those are the seven movies that finally get the opportunity to compete March Madness style in making The Project, which could make for some interesting battles, such as a Melissa Barrera movie against The Bounce Back or either Saved By The Bell movie. Goodbye, moratorium.
Tune in on Tuesday to find out which movies get selected for the Hedgehog 15 page.
