As far back as early 2016, I started to master the concept of cash back rebate apps/sites, with Ibotta being the only one that I used at the time.
However, that all changed on March 3, 2016, when a friend of mine introduced and referred me to Rakuten (formerly known as Ebates), the website that gives you cash back for your online purchases from sites such as iTunes, as well as from certain departments on Amazon.
Now, I’m not a shopaholic on the level of Alicia Silverstone’s character in Clueless, but I like to add to my shirt collection, along with renting and/or buying movies and adding to my music collection. Plus, I like to buy art for my friends and family, along with finding a need or two for shopping, such as buying plastic storage bags for the painted rocks that my customers purchase from me or making and purchasing my business cards via Vistaprint.
All of those wants and needs have always been evident, but now I’m making the most of them thanks to Rakuten, a site that has been a boom to the Art Infliction brand, by simply giving me cash back on my purchases from sites such as the three aforementioned ones in this review as well as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Staples, eBay, Michaels, Fandango and Crate and Barrel. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, because there are many more that will give you cash back for your online purchases.
How to use the website is self-explanatory but for those who might struggle with using it, well it’s simple really because all you have to do is sign into your Rakuten account and click the site that you want to make your purchase with. And once you click the site that you want, Rakuten will re-direct you to that site and will then have you sign into to whichever site that you’re using at that time, whether it’s Amazon or iTunes. And once you make your purchase, the site that you made your purchase from will inform Rakuten about it and you will get accredited the cash back very shortly after the purchase.
So yeah, I definitely recommend Rakuten for those that shop online no matter how frequently that they do it. It takes the takes money to make money concept to a whole new level and most importantly, you get paid to do something that you love. And to somewhat alter a quote of NFL Hall Of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, it’s guaranteed to give you straight cash back, homie. So yeah, give Rakuten a try because I guarantee that you’ll love it.
